My photo taken at 50 miles a hour of Cadillac Ranch Near Amarillo,
The two photos below are stock photos from Wikipedia
and shows just how colorful they are.
CADILLAC RANCHCadillac Ranch is not a ranch but a public art installation and sculpture in Amarillo, Texas, USA. It was created in 1974 by Chip Lord, Hudson Marquez and Doug Michels, who were a part of the art group Ant Farm.
It consists of what were (when originally installed during 1974) either older running used or junk Cadillac automobiles, representing a number of evolutions of the car line (most notably the birth & death of the defining feature of mid twentieth century Cadillacs: the tailfins) from 1949 to 1963, half-buried nose-first in the ground, at an angle corresponding to that of the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt.

I was amazed at the Green Grass!
I have always loved the Water Towers of Texas. Almost every town in Texas has a
tower, many built by Chicago Bridge and Iron Company and many have the town mascot,'
The link below is a good history of Texas Water Towers.

I am most familiar with the water tower in my old home town of Grapevine.
The two photos below are stock as we did not get to Grapevine on this trip.
I remember the day the Mustang was painted on the round one one the right.
Now it has grapes on it instead and the other one has the Mustang.
We were greeted by this beautiful Cardinal when we arrived at Susan Butlers home in Fort Worth.
