2016 May 4 through May 6th ~ Amtrak Tripping across Country to Colorado-Part 2

Rolling into Denver and on through the Colorado Rocky Mountains to Grand Junction

My friend, Duncan's, reflection in the window entering Denver

 Denver - 8:07am

Views as we hit the Mountains above Denver with lots of reflections on the window that's part of riding on the train.

The Views from the Lounge Car were Fabulous,
We didn't leave our seats for fear we would loose them!
I love this shot ~ Our train is entering a mountain tunnel and we can the reflections
of all the people watching

I believe that this is the Granby Dam.
It dams the Colorado River 5.5 miles Northeast of Granby, Colorado

This is how we travel.  We figured out that if we put the
Camera ( or phone) right up against the window, the reflections lessened.

Love the curves of the track so we can see the front of the Zephyr

Our wonderful Sleeper Car Attendant - He took great care of us!
Even delivered our lunch to us in the Lounge car so we would not lose our great seats
by going  to the dining room.  Thank you very much Sir!
What a great personality ~ Always smiling~  And he is retiring in October!

We were all serenaded
