Leaving Bainbridge Island
and heading East
The point at the end of the Harbor on Bainbridge Island. Looking back at the beach we where we walked each day

It was a beautiful drive from Seattle, heading over the
mountains to eastern Washington
and it only lasted about 15 minutes, followed by beautiful scenery
and cloud formations on the other side of the mountains

I was amazed at the 4 flat formations at the bottom of these clouds.

We arrived in Walla Walla to be greeted by 3 critters
and Cathy & Woody!
Walla Walla is known for the beautiful Victorian homes located throughout the town.
Cathy and Woody's beautiful home, shown here, is one beautiful example!
On our first full day, the four of us spent hours in the car touring this sweet town which, in 2011, USA Today selected Walla Walla as the friendliest small city in the United States. Here are a few more examples of the beautiful Victorian homes found around Walla Walla.
