Babe and Fred!

Thank you so much Nancy and Fred for the wonderful time.  We loved visiting you new home and seeing the life you are not making in Columbus, N.C.  I love your little town and look forward to visiting again.  What a great day we had driving around the mountains and climbing Chimney Rock and seeing the beautiful waterfall.
And BABE!  We love her!!

The Biltmore Estate
As a grandson of famed industrialist and philanthropist Cornelius Vanderbilt, George takes his place among one of America’s best-known families. In 1889 construction beings on the Estate,  Vanderbilt’s 250-room French Renaissance chateau is a true marvel, the largest undertaking in residential architecture. Over a six-year period, an entire community of craftsmen comes together to create America’s premier home and the environmental wonderland that surrounds it.

These two photos are the only inside photos I could take and only because its in the entrance hall area,  No photos are allowed to be taken inside the home.  But it was lovely and I loved all the beautiful furniture, paintings and personal photos showing the family.
